Hi! My name is Kimanje Patrick. Am a full-stack software developer. I have about 4 years of professional software development experience. I have been developing in the following technologies. HTML, CSS, JavaScript(ES6+), Reactjs, Redux, bootstrap, materialize, Python (Django and Flask), Node.js/Express, MongoDB, PostgreSQL and Typescript. I also exercise unit testing and use continuous integration tools. Am a true team player with vast knowledge on how to work in teams. Seeking the opportunity to provide outstanding, clean code in a collaborative environment. An excellent communicator with the ability to meet deadlines and quickly resolve issues.

My Story

I started as a self taught software developer and landed my 1st job without a degree. My desire to grow gained me enormous amounts of knowledge which prompted my 1st employers to trust me
Due to the desire to have support documents, I decided to go back in school for Computer Science. This didn't go well as I dropped out before the end of the 1st semester after I had realised that I had little financial support.
Though I don't have a degree, I have lived as a life long learner and have used any opportunity available to grow myself. The journey has not been easy but with passion and determination nothing is impossible. As I write, Am a skilled software developer who has been trusted by tones of people and companies to get work done in a professional work environment. I have been able to work in distributed teams across africa [ Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria & USA ] to build products that matter
